Moon Landing Anniversary Adventure

Today marks the anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing which took place on July 16th, 1969. The mission was crewed by three American astronauts: Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, and Michael Collins. At the library, we will watch a video about the moon landing and learn about advances in space exploration. Participants will be able to make their own planet using Styrofoam balls and art supplies, and there will be moon pie treats for everyone!
